Algebra II

Explanation

  • Square of a number: multiplying the number by itself
    Example: 5² = 5 × 5 = 25

  • Square root: a number which, when squared, gives the original number
    √25 = 5

Rules:

  • √(a × b) = √a × √b

  • √(a / b) = √a / √b

These rules help simplify radical expressions.
