Sine & Cosine of Complementary Angles

Explanation

Complementary angles add to 90°.

Relationship:

  • sin θ = cos(90° − θ)

  • cos θ = sin(90° − θ)

Example: θ = 30° → sin 30° = cos 60° = 1/2

Why useful: Allows switching between sine and cosine easily.
