To estimate limits from a graph:

  1. Look at the value f(x) approaches as x → c from the left and right.

  2. If both sides approach the same number, that’s the limit.

Example:

  • f(x) → 3 as x → 2 from left and right → lim (x → 2) f(x) = 3
